Big Sleeves: What’s the Big Deal?

The obsession with poufy sleeves has always been obnoxiously at the forefront of my fashion choices, but this year, they became a “trend”. I’ve always gravitated towards this type of sleeve. I think it instantly elevates a simple top, while not making me feel like my arms were super exposed (I personally dislike that feeling!). Over the last few months, I’ve come to adore a few vendors for their poufy sleeve love similar to mine, and always look to support them before any of the big brands out there.

For a more high end pouf:

• Horror Vacui Munich (lovely tops and incredibly beautiful dresses)

• Ulla Johnson (eyeing this for a fall wedding and this to sit around my house and feel fabulous in)

• Doen (in my cart) — sizing can be funky, I typically size down

• Andion Clothing; all made to order via Instagram but can’t say enough good things about these gals. Their tops fit me well and are perfect for my odd proportions!

• Veronica Beard — obsessed with this top and I’ve already worn it to death to the office

• Aje although size up if you can
