Jeans, pants, & sweatpants for tall gals
Let’s start with jeans. As a 5’11 female, typically anywhere from a size US 10 - 14, finding jeans that I actually feel good in is a constant battle. I should preface all of this by saying I am not a Madewell or Gap jean fan (even though they have tall inseams) as I’ve found that the quality doesn’t hold up. So jeans are somewhere I choose to spend a bit of money on. Everlane has great options as well, but I have found that even their tall inseam isn’t long enough for me. I like a high rise, something not too “skinny” in style, and a fabric that is forgiving but not like leggings. Here are my tried and true favorites.

Pants! I’ve tried the Aritiza Effortless Pant and hated them. I looked like a bank teller (no shade - that’s just not my profession). So here are a few that I've loved and wear often in the cooler months. I love the boyish look of chinos with loafers and an oversized sweater too. Black Halo Isabella pant (I wear a size 14 and may even need them shortened), Cos Straight Leg Chinos (I wear a size 12), Everlane Barrel Pant (I wear a 12 Tall), and J.Crew Slim Corduroy Pant (I wear a 10 Tall).
Sweaptants — my favorite subject. I used to be an Entireworld fan through and through, but they’ve since liquidated their business. The Aritiza “Cozy Fleece Mega” sweatpant is my absolute favorite (and I’ve tried THEM ALL). I wear the tall inseam and they’re beyond cozy inside without feeling too heavy. I’ve also become a big Naadam fan during quarantine. Their pieces feel less scrubby than H&M sweatpants (which I do actually also love and they’re so cheap) but you can wear them around running errands and not look absurd.
